First Match of 09 Season

Great First Match!

Elwood gave the Eagles a run for their money. Eagles won the battle in 3 sets, 27-25, 26-24 and 28-26. Guerin served very tough but Elwood was a very good passing team. For the first game of the season the coaching staff was delighted to see the spirit and fight to win this match in 3 sets especially to come back from being down in the 3rd. On the offensive side, Courtney Walsh lead the team with 14 kills and Katie Regan 12 kills. Kat Trott lead the team with 2 service aces and a very impressive 7 consecutive serves! Andrea Kimmerling (DS) lead the team on the defensive side with 11 digs. Serve receive continues to improve. Wednesday we play Madison Grant H.S., 7:30 @ Home. Thursday we play Lebannon @ 6:30 here at Guerin. See you there.
